Merlin, on BBC One returns this Fall


BBC One's medieval fantasy, Merlin, is one of the few British dramas to be shown on US network television in decades. It has completed two seasons, and is due to return this fall for a third.

Based loosely on the legends of Merlin and Arthur, akin to Smallville's exploration of the early days of Superman, Merlin has a lot more going for it than castles, dragons and swordfights: tight story lines, consistent overarching themes, some good humour, well-etched characters and masterfully executed fight scenes.
