Bones, the American crime drama television series that premiered on the Fox Network in 2005, completed its landmark 100th episode yesterday.
For the uninitiated, the show is loosely based on the life of forensic anthropologist and Bones' producer, Kathy Reichs. Each episode focuses on a current or open-ended FBI case concerning the mystery behind the human remains brought in by Special Agent Seeley Booth (David Boreanaz) to the forensic anthropology team of Dr. Temperance Brennan (Emily Deschanel), or "Bones" as he calls her.
One of the reasons for Bones' success was the excellent lead chemistry, and after some cliffhangers the writers take a substantial step with Booth & Brennan
